The Cartian Overlappers don't show any urgency. Now if you ask them if the end is near and if their message is urgent they will always say yes.

My impressions of the cart witnessing
by Sour Grapes ini have watched tons of youtube videos of our exjdub friends approaching and talking to the jdub manikins at their carts as they give a great witness to the world by sipping their hot lattes, updating their social media, chit chatting to each other, and the most important thing of getting their time in, counting their hours.. when the jw's see someone approach with a camera they do several things, they will turn their backs on the person, or look at the person with a frown and act like the person isn't even there.
the witlesses refuse to answer simple, clear, and precise questions.
when i was an elder i loved to get into discussions and debates with trinitarians, priest, clergymen and those who were born again.

In the good old days the Borg lent the money to the congregation to build the new kingdom haul. The congregation over the years paid off the loan which was then owned not by the congregation but the Borg. Now the Borg doesn't even do the building...they just steal the down payment.

I relished the opportunity to prove that I had the truth. Today all they can say is that you can get answers at JWORG.
The JDubs look so pathetic, uncaring, ignorant, and just plain stupid as they just stand there ignoring all attempts of the ExJDub to talk with them. Some of the JW's look like Satan himself is standing in front of them. The Witnesses I am sure will brag about the persecution they receive from these apostates.
The question is if they have the truth why won't they stand up with some backbone and defend their desert god and the teachings of their 8 popes?
It is a very sad religion that no one deserves.

The older I get the more angry I become!
by Sour Grapes ini did some self-reflection today trying to determine why, with every passing day, i become angrier against the watchtower company.
i am in my 70's and my health is failing.
at first, i thought it was because "worldly" people couldn't care less about jdubs and the little world they live in even though the witlesses think that the earth revolves around them and their desert god who was originally worshipped by the cainites.

It is the little things in life that normal kids had that I did not experience because of my mom joining the cult. The list would be not blowing out birthday candles on a cake, the smell of a Christmas tree in the house, the excitement of Christmas Eve, being able to watch cartoons on Saturday morning which was replaced with going out in service.
Then, of course, there were the problems at school for not celebrating birthdays, not being allowed to draw turkeys, Santa Clause, or pilgrims. I hated being poked at for not doing the pledge of allegiance as fingers pointed at me that I was one of those Jehovah's.
I hated it all.

I hope our experiences accomplish two things...keep others from getting sucked into the cult from hell and waking others up to salvage the time they have remaining in their lives.

The Borg is setting the stage for the present day overlappers so they can point to this Witchtower article in 30 years to tag on another 100 years to the length of a generation with more charts and a dash of fou fou dust.

Refusing to Report time in field ministry
by Whynot inwhat do you think would happen if i verbally refuse to report my time?
it's been several months since i turned in my time and i think the elder got tired of asking me lol.
frankly, i think it's stupid that jws are required to do this.

I have found not turning in time is more important to the elders than not going to meetings. They would call me for my time and not ask about why I don't go to meetings. It is all about the numbers.

Another marriage bites the dust ...
by EdenOne in... and this time it was mine.. mrs. eden decided to part ways and leave home, and so our 25 year long partnership is now dissolving.
.
just another colateral damage in a long list of colateral damages from being raised in the "truth".

That is going to be tough after so many years. Being in the "Truth" will destroy life's, marriages, income, children, and happiness. It is a real shit sandwich.

I appreciate all of the insightful and heartfelt comments! The Borg stole our past but not our future. We have learned to live in the present not putting living on a block of ice waiting to live in a future petting zoo that is just around the corner.
I will never forget the sorrow in the eyes of my mom laying in a nursing home bed when she accepted she was dying. She beat the truth into me because Armgeddon was so close and I wouldn't even get to graduate from high school.
If there was a burning hell, the Watchtower Society of Jehovah's Witnesses would have a front row seat.
